Cannot open Node-RED in vscode

I cannot oppen Node-RED with the shortcut or when I press F1 and go to open Node-RED. Does anyone know a solution for this? Already reinstalled Node-Red and vscode is up to the newest version.

Same issue here, re-installed the extension several times, and disabled all other extensions. Latest version, but portable.

Depends on VS Code supporting window.localStorage in WebView API: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/52246

Are there any workarounds, or does this mean that this issue is not going to be resolved?

I have this issue too. After I installed installed in PowerShell, the "node-red" command resulted in this error: Error loading settings file: \Users\FrancoisSt-Arnaud.node-red\settings.js I checked, and the file is actually not there...

Now VS Code won't start the extension either...
