No it's all fine. Then my solution will work out of the box.

the only workaround I know is: restarting vs code
paket install / update we could touch a file in /obj - but I think it actually already deletes the project.assets.json Shouldn't this be enough?

same here. Switching back to 6.0.6 solves it.
