F5 and F6 key not working!

Open Aniz31 opened this issue 5 years ago • 7 comments

I am using a machine with Windows 10 in it, Atom version 1.47.0 I am relatively new with using ATOM... I installed the atom-python-run (0.9.7) using both install package option as well as apm command... In neither case F5 or F6 works... No terminal comes up and no error is shown...! I can see the Keybinding for F5 and F6 to the package and programmed to run scripts... But under Package tab there is no option corresponding to atom-python-run and the script executes on pressing the relevant keys...

What am I missing here?? Any help is highly appreciated...

I had the same issue on my dell laptop, so I tried switching off my fn locking, by pressing "fn"+"ECS", and it worked. Give it a try, I hope it works for you all too.

This happened with me too but I figured it out by downloading python 3.9 from MS store.
