Feature Request: WebP support for Premiere
For importing WebP images or sequences of images directly into Premiere. I'm not sure how complicated this kind of thing would be. I could not find any examples of Premiere plugins which are single-frame importers and not video importers.
You're hoping to use WebP as part of a video workflow? Please explain. It would be possible to do this.
I'm not too interested in making an animated WebP plug-in because Premiere and After Effects don't expose control over things like looping and delay between frames. Photoshop has those controls for animated GIFs, but there doesn't appear to be a way for me to access them from a plug-in.

This is not that crucial an issue, one can always convert a WebP to a PNG in Photoshop if need be, so if it's a considerable amount of work I'll be happy to pull this request back. Thanks for making these awesome plugins.
