I created a feature request in the Flutter main repo for the team to adopt workmanager as a first-party package. Although there’s only a small chance they’ll do it, an upvote could help bring attention to the issue. https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/163048

I’d prefer continuous development of this package and would contribute myself, but it seems there are no maintainers left. There’s actually a significant update by @absar that fixes many issues, but it hasn’t been released for over a year. I’m still using his ios-bg-tasks-enh-final branch.
