Adding a note in the README that lets people know not to use this in …
…it's current state until critical bugs are addressed.
I think it's great that you want to help breathe new life into this tool, maybe we could phrase the warning a bit differently. While it may be fundamentally accurate, it's not very helpful. I agree that this thing should come with a disclaimer, but I would like to see something a bit more descriptive there. Specifically, an enumeration of the issues that need to be addressed before it should be considered more reliable, and maybe a more general disclaimer that no tool is ever going to keep you completely safe.
I'd like to see something like
This tool is currently a proof of concept, and needs several enhancements before it should be considered stable:
* list
* of
* glaring issues
No anti-compulsion tool should ever be considered completely safe, blah blah.
What do you think?
Agreed. I will comb through the code some more and work on isolating all potential edge cases that need to be addressed. I will then compile them into the list of glaring issues and adjust the pull request accordingly. Thanks for getting back to me. I look forward to working with you on this project.
Me too!
