Seeking maintainers

Hi,

As I clearly don't have time anymore to provide this project the maintenance it deserves, I am opening this issue to discuss a transfer of maintainership.

The project needs minor maintenance to guarantee compatibility with Python, Django and DRF versions. It also needs help with triaging and qualifying and resolving bugs. Feature requests may be pushed back by default at this time.

There are a few forms this could take.

  1. Fork. If an existing and more actively maintained fork exists, I would be happy to link to it from this repository. Otherwise folks are welcome to start a fork and linking to it would be possible.
  2. Contribution and maintenance on this repository. I can add folks as contributor or (perhaps as a second step) maintainer to the repository to manage tickets and PRs.

Eventually the PyPI package should be handed over as well, which can be done by adding a new publisher there.

Any willing souls much welcome to discuss below!
