you should be able to achieve this by simply setting a larger z-index on the notification. It's set to `ViewEncapsulation.None` so you should have no problem overriding it.

Can you please resolve any conflicts, it looks like some of the additions you made were included in a previous fork as well.

I think your setup is completely fine. I don't see why the notifications don't show up. Can you try to recreate the problem in a plunker, so we can play...

It doesn't just not display the notification. It brakes them completely.

But it doesn't throw an error. This behavior is really weird.

yes @davidalee you're right as far as I can tell it isn't connected. It looks like it errors out when the notification is manually destroyed at the same time as...
