add support for vitest

since the api is pretty similar it should be possible to support vitest

Interesting interesting. I’ve recently started preferring vitest in all new projects. There is existing integration, as you certainly are aware, with the built-in IDE test runner. I would say that it’s just OK. Do you think it’s worth adding support for it here versus the baked in IDE execution? This issue clearly suggests yes, but curious if you’ve thought more deeply on it

your right probably this doesnt make sense because they already ship their own extension which is better

I am +1 for this. currently vitest extension not as good as vscode-jest-runner. But maybe after https://github.com/firsttris/vscode-jest-runner/pull/393 is merged ?
