Where to place the real time module on the board?

Hi, get him some power and connect data to I2C (two-pin SDA SCL header, next to SIP relay). Have you already ordered PCB?

Yes, my mid is already assembled and working! It is missing the rtc and the sip relay that saves the data when turning off the key

Is the RTC only used to save the time and date? Or is it also used to save travel data, consumption and other things?

RTC itself can only store time and date. For travel data you need to have EEPROM, which stores data on shutdown and loads then on setup. But they can be on the same module/PCB, f.e. DS3231 module has usually also AT24C32 - I2C EEPROM memory .

And where are you from? Now I have everything on universal PCB and instead of ordering 5pcs fron JLCPCB, I could buy one or two from you, If you will. Also you managed to get some Amber LCD? I cannot find it anywhere so for now I test IT on different color and it doesn't look pretty in my car (Frontera B).
