I only want to download .torrent files through my browser, how do I filter this?

When I try to download files with .torrent extension I get error 401 or 404. I read here that some servers have authentication problems. I only want to download .torrent files through the browser, how can I filter this?

I just discovered this program today and I do not know coding etc. I would be very grateful if you could explain it simply.
