Missed action

Open pjgrun opened this issue 10 months ago • 2 comments

I had an issue where an action scheduled in ui-time-scheduler was not triggered. I am using ui-time-scheduler for daily automation of many activities since 3 years. This is the second time I have observed it. I have been unable to find any evidence of this issue in HA Core or NodeRED logs. Anyone else has experienced similar issue?

Can't say I've experienced it, but could it be something to do with the time updating and thus missing the start trigger time?

I've seen similar with my radio alarm clock, it only updates the time when the radio on, so ite alarm goes off at 6:00, time updates to 5:59 and I turn the alarm off, then it goes off again at 6:00, took me a while to figure out what was going on,

If the time updates at the same time as one of your schedules it may skip the start time, and not trigger, just a thought.

The issue is really sporadic. I am using this for multiple daily automations since over three years, and I can only recall two times it has occurred.

This project is based on Angular v1 and node-red-dashboard - as both projects are now no longer maintained, this project should be considered to be deprecated as well. Please see https://github.com/fellinga/node-red-contrib-ui-time-scheduler/issues/103 for an alternative.
