as described in local-or-self-hosted-llm-compatible-with-openai, user can input customized base_url & api_key, but the model names should be in a fixed list which not fits the situation of self hosted llms.

I'm also interested by this feature, I tried to "hack" the groq model name I'm using through the package.json file, but it seems I'm missing something else.

I'm sadly not savvy enough with VSCode extension to offer more help here.
