Automatic backup folder to allow sync via third party apps
It would be nice if the notes could be stored as individual files in a folder that can be chosen in the preferences. That way, the actual syncing could be left to Dropbox or any WebDAV software like FolderSync.
The "Denkzettel" app which is quite similar to Omni-Notes uses this approach for example.
It would be good feature. I thought about open a issue with this.
Version 5.2.0 will have this feature and it's pretty much ready.
I'll release it in beta channel to check that everything is ok due to some critical code changes.
hey @federicoiosue when is the release coming out??
just installed 5.2.0 beta1 from play store. i dont see the feature present. just checking to see if the feature is supposed to released in this version.
I came here to propose this feature but I see it has already been added.
Is this feature available in the beta channel?
@aparcar you can try the (quite outdated) binary here. The auto-backup feature works but that also contain a bidirectional-sync that would allow to import into the app changed notes, and that's actually not completed.
Is the json format specified? Any documentation on saving binary files?
Il provide a JSON scheme as soon as possible
