Stability caveat still relevant?

The README leads with a caveat about the stability of libzotero. I've used it in the past for a local project and it worked for that. I'm now working on a project involving other developers, and I'm feeling a little more cautious. Has libzotero settled in at this point, or should we look to another tool for managing interactions with API v3?
