Place table caption above the table

Open BYUignite opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

Description / Summary

  • It is fairly standard for table captions to be placed above tables, but the documentation and example shows has the caption below the table. Is it possible to put the caption above the table?
  • Also, the rendering of the table caption is gray with the beginning text, e.g., "Table 1.1" not bold. Figures show up as black text with the leading "Fig 1.1" bold.

Value / benefit

  • This would allow conformance to common practice, and use similar formatting of table and figure captions

+1. Is there a way to configure references so that table references are above the table?
