Yes, I see the issue. I have no solution for now. Have you considered using latest version of alth, from its master branch. v.1.6.0 is from April and I don't how it relates to current eth.

but ... out of my perspective ... it is at least a strange behaviour to build within cmake, not make
Building current master works. Must be something on your side. Maybe try pulling and compiling aleth from scratch using its master branch?
aleth uses hunter for its dependencies. so what you seen when you run cmake is hunter pulling and compiling dependencies, such as boost.
