I think it's a good addition. It makes me wonder, are there other parts of the settlement process that can be moved to the end? If so, it might be fair to consider doing them together.

There should be some transparency on Ethereum and one of it's missing transparency was the missing API for events emitted on issuance increase / decrease. How come it didn't present until now?
