Issue or Suggestion Description

Maintaining esp-hosted in Buildroot would be simpler and clearer if versions are released from time to time. This has been also asked here: https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]/ and I find it very useful.

By default Buildroot now has Linux 6.15, it would be great if you release a new version like: release/ng-v1.0.5.0.0 or similar.

Otherwise I should send patches with local patches to Buildroot or even worse get back to git download method
