Running ism is hanging or super slow

Running ism is hanging or super slow. I have run hello world example fine. But negative and fib. Seem to just hang. IPhone 13 iOS 17.3.1

Hi @ericlsimplifi ! Thanks for opening this issue. Yes, you are right. Generally, it takes a lot of time for ISM to execute code that is just more than few lines of code.

I am not sure how one can improve performance of ISM though. One problem of ISM is that it is just a shortcut binary file. I am thinking of moving the codebase to Cherri programming language ( which is a really cool Shortcuts language) and rewrite ISM in Cherri. With that everybody will be able contribute to ISM and we will maintain a Cherri codebase. I believe that would help optimizing several components of ISM.
