How to set custom color schemes?

Isn't really an error, more like a query, after checking out the wiki I didn't really find anything related to custom color schemes. And I there wasn't any _material.scss as mentioned in an old issue

I just mainly want to change the light grayish background color to black. Also, what do these letters in the color scheme tab do?

check the files under .config/ags/scripts/color_generation. materialyoucolor-python is used to generate the colours from the wallpaper.

In your .local/state/ags/scss/ is the _material.scss file

you can edit the hex code values then refresh your bar

these values change after you change the wallpaper though
