it would be nice to add the ability to access the quickshell status bar while playing a video e.g youtube and have the ability to change volume.

I don’t think that’s what you want fullscreen to do. If you want to see the bar while an app is fullscreen, just press Super+Alt+F. This only puts the app itself in fullscreen, not the entire shell.

Well I guess @momoRaza wants similar experience as Windows, when pressing super key the bar shows up even if some program is running fullscreen.

Thank you all for the suggestions, I was hoping for something like this gnome shell extension https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/6048/peek-top-bar-on-fullscreen/

Sometimes when I'm watching a video, it would be nice to just hover the cursor on the top of the screen and change the volume by the scroll wheel without using the keyboard.
