In Cyberpunk 2077, Preset Letter for UltraPerformance is always loaded based on Preset Letter of Performance (HUD confirms it, tested both DLSSTweaks-0.200.3 and newest DLSSTweaks-0.200.6beta2)
Basically the title, super easy to reproduce. Other quality settings' presets work fine!
Expected: UltraPerformance Preset symbol is respected
What happens: UltraPerformance always loads the Preset based on Preset symbol of Performance DLSS setting, basically Performance Preset controls both Performance and UltraPerformance.
Did you customize the ratio for UltraPerformance? If you did then it might be the same issue as https://github.com/emoose/DLSSTweaks/issues/59#issuecomment-1501983447 (DLSS picks the preset based on the ratio being used, whichever one of the vanilla ratios is closest is the preset-level that gets chosen)
Hoping to find a workaround for that eventually but haven't got anything working for it yet.
I did! That might be it. So ge current workaround is to keep in mind the original resolution scaling ratios and keep each custom ratio reasonably close to the original one?
What DLSS version are you using and what ratios did you use? this is curious because i often play around with numbers close to each other and this didn't happen for me yet... and my ratios for ultra perf and quality are way off from the default ones, all are fairly close between eachother between 0.4375 for the lowest and 0.5625 for the highest in this game and it switches.
the only thing i've noticed in cp2077 that is different from other games i've tried is that it doesn't accept resolutions that don't have the same scale as the output... so if you are running 16:9 you have to enter 16:9 resolutions for this game... usually in other games i like to put a bit higher resolution on the height... like 1836x1080 (17:10).. or 16:10, 4:3 or 3:2 or even 1:1 for outputting on 16:9 because i think usually the vertical information is better to have more of to avoid artifacts on near-horizontal objects, some games even play DLAA vertically and DLSS horizontally but in cyberpunk it breaks the dlss completely and i just get a trippy laser show when i do this.
