Create Asset Library Asset upon import

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It can be quite a chore to manage assets manually. It would be great if the addon would support creating assets for the Asset Browser upon import.

Describe the solution you'd like Ideally, there would be a checkbox in the pop-up that asks for the download size. What I would like for the addon to do is to append the material to a Blend file that is in the root folder for each respective source. Like so: afbeelding The material should then be applied to a simple shaderball and be marked as an asset. If the user then specifies this folder as folder for the asset browser, you can immediately use the downloaded files as asset.

Asset browser utilities Hope this is possible considering Blender can only operate in one window. Perhaps you could take inspiration from Asset Browser Utilities (which can be used to load thumbnails, export assets, etc.). https://github.com/Gorgious56/asset_browser_utilities

Thanks for considering!

This is indeed an interesting idea I'll consider it! :)
