Bluetooth Turning Itself Back On

Open sorceresslucienne opened this issue 1 week ago • 2 comments

What Happened?

I'm not sure what's triggering it, but I notice that Bluetooth keeps turning itself back on - is this intentional? This time I turned it off again before I went to bed, came back to the lock screen, unlocked my session, and saw it was back on again.

Steps to Reproduce

Leave computer idle long enough and Bluetooth comes back on, unsure currently what is specifically triggering it

Expected Behavior

Bluetooth stays off if you turn it off

OS Version

8.x (Circe)

OS Architecture

amd64 (on most hardwares)

Session Type

Classic Session (X11, This is the default)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

Log Output

Hardware Info

No response

Does this happen every time the screen is locked or does this happen after a certain amount of idle team even if the screen does not lock?

Also have you installed any non-Flatpak apps? I think, for example, Chrome messes with Bluetooth

That I haven't determined - I have noticed it's turned back on after starting new sessions and screen unlocks. I don't think I have any non-Flatpak applications installed. What was running in the background yesterday when it came back: LibreWolf, Signal, Vesktop, Telegram
