Scheduled messages ("send later")
Your use case
What would you like to do?
Schedule sending a message ("send later").
Why would you like to do it?
To not manually have to remember sending messages at the right time. If I'm able or schedule sending the message, I can write it when I think about it and have it arrive timely when it is relevant.
How would you like to achieve it?
The best version of this feature would be to send the message to the homeserver instantly and have the server deliver it according to the message's schedule. Having it be client side is very limiting, particularly because the client has to be active to be able to send.
Have you considered any alternatives?
I think Telegram does it amazingly. This is what it looks like:

I would like to have this feature for the Windows version of Element as well :)))
Slack does that too, this comes extremely handy especially for ADHD brains!
I would like to have this feature as well! Super handy!
But, please, rollout this feature to Android, iOS, and Desktop apps. 😄
@gsmachado This issue tracker is only for the Android client but there is a feature request targeting all Element clients.

I'm glad it's not just me 😅

Should be hopefully implemented soon. Typical ADHD people will procrastinate it, too 😅

Does this mean you are working on it? 😃

No—sorry for the misunderstanding 😅 I hope someone who is already active in this project will implement this. Just pushing your topic :muscle:
We are also getting requests for scheduled delivery from our users.
So here is a +1 from us
Please add scheduling messages, this feature is kind of essential for daily usage.
