Is this project still alive? There was no change since some years.
What do you recommend for new users who want to test their salt code?
Hey @guettli ... sorry for the slow response, I've been on vacation and just catching up on a backlog of email. The project isn't really "dead", per se, but I haven't really been using it personally in a long time as I haven't been writing any Salt myself (I've been mostly in the realm of Ansible for work-related tasks). That said, there is an open pull request right now that I'm going to sort out the conflicts and get merged, and it would be nice to keep the project alive, as I think its purpose for existing is useful. I'm glad to add contributors to the repository if people are interested in helping improve the current state of affairs.
@elasticdog thank you for your reply. If you search a new maintainer, it might help to tell this at the top of the README.
I would be a bad maintainer since I still learning salt and have not used vagrant before.
