Right arrows stop connecting at 5 characters

VSCode: image WezTerm (Neovim): image

Left arrows work perfectly, and Fira Code has no problems with right arrows, so I assume this is an unintended behavior.

I am aware of this, but I don't really know how Fira Code does this. Please tell me if you find out. I'll happily have another crack at it though.

I don't know much about how fonts are made so I might be wrong, but https://github.com/tonsky/FiraCode/issues/346 and https://github.com/tonsky/FiraCode/commit/8cc5687a3ab568edafdf4e371a3d5d700765c3f0 might be relevant.
