What happened?

Hi

When I select a rectangle, only two lines show in the notification and more lines show as [...]

Environment: Linux - KDE - Wayland

How did you install NormCap?

AppImage (Linux)

Operating System + Version?

Arch Linux

[Linux only] Display Server (DS) + Desktop environment (DE)?

KDE - Wayland

Debug log output?

Hi @Maziar123 , thanks for reporting.

Actually, this is the intended behavior, because the amount of text that can be displayed in the system notification is limited and depends on the system.

May I ask: Why would you prefer seeing the full text in the notification? What's your use-case?

I use Wayland in KDE @ Arch Linux.

In my case, the selected case does not copy to the clipboard & the only way to access it for me use a notification...

Oh, I see! Then let's try to solve this initial issue of the clipboard function not working correctly. Can you please try to run the following command in a terminal and share it's output here?

./NormCap-0.4.4-x86_64.AppImage -v debug
