Add ability to set loops with loop markers
Add a column to the left of the text area with Play and Loop buttons next to each line. The line with Play selected will be the one that the playhead starts from. If a Loop is selected, the end of the line with loop will loop back to the line with Play. Also include keyboard shortcuts, perhaps ctrl + , and ctrl + .
Would love this, too! :) Or simply play highlighted text only, if numbers are highlighted.
@verstecken I do like the idea of playing just highlighted text, although the highlight disappears as soon as you want to use the cursor for editing, which might result in a lot of "select" > "preview" > "change a number" > "select again" > "preview again". I'll make the button next to each line, and then perhaps see if you like it and we could revisit the highlighted text looping as a later thing if there's still a need for it?
Basic full-tune-length looping added in 1.4.0
Thats really cool! But still it is pain, when I compose something and deep down in line 231 I want to listen to what I wrote but I have to listen too all of the lines above again. :)
Oh yes of course, this feature's not complete yet but I thought I'd release at least some basic looping first.
Starting from any line is out in 1.5.0. Only the "return" selector is missing for true loop markers.
