Bad performance full year display...

I'm having huge issues with slow responses on selecting days on a full year view, it takes nearly a second for a click to toggle a day (de-)selection.

I've tried to isolate it in my real .NET razor application, removed tons of stuff, but to no avail (might be missing something).

Here's the structure I'm using... https://pastebin.com/q03y1TEU (expires in 14 days) It works reasonably ok like this and in fiddle it is even better, but in my actual code it is utterly laggy.

Any hints on how to find out what it is that makes it sluggish?
