Notifications don't work on xfce4 desktop

No notifications appear.

Notifications sent by notify-send appear on xfce4 fine.

FreeBSD 11.2

How did you install ntfy and with what version?

and what OS? if debian-like, do you have python-dbus installed?

Do you have python dbus bindings installed? I have no clue what the pkg name would be, but it's also available via pip if you have all the build dependencies installed: pip install dbus-python

I have py36-dbus-1.2.8 installed.
