mute never worked, still does not

The mute option when uploading a file never worked and still does not. When is this planned? Really, people don't need to be alerted of changes made to files made in the app sandbox folder that are private to the app itself.

@greg-db you're prompt with replies Greg, but no offence, you've been saying the same for over a year :D It's really something our users complain a lot about, and is frankly very annoying. I also don't understand - why provide a parameter that doesn't actually work?
