Is this a docs issue?

Type of issue

Information is incorrect

Description

The /Applications/Docker.app/Contents/MacOS/uninstall was not present on my machine, so I had to use Docker Desktop app's "Troubleshoot" dialog to remove it.

Also, in order to allow the rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.docker.docker command to succeed, I had to enable "Full Disk Access" for the Terminal app in the System Settings under "Privacy & Security".

This is on macOS Sonoma 14.4.

Location

https://docs.docker.com/desktop/uninstall/

Suggestion

No response

Closing this issue as I could not reproduce, docs worked fine, and we've not had any other reports of this issue. If the issue persists, please report it to the Docker for Mac repo https://github.com/docker/for-mac
