`Vendor::create` should throw an exception but for some reason it does not. Check the last error by calling the `getLastError` method of the `DataService` class. It helped me with troubleshooting...

@Lexachoc I removed the `data-modal-backdrop` attribute and it allowed me closing a modal both by hitting Escape and clicking on the backdrop. That's not what I would like to achive....
