CleanLinks turns itself on

I have placed the CleanLinks button in my toolbar. I click it to disable CleanLinks. But after a few seconds it turns itself on again.

Strange indeed. Try to install the version here in the repo by using GitHubExtIns[1] and watch the browser console (ctrl+shift+J) for any possible exception thrown.

Same problem here. I click to disable it and, a few seconds later, it turns on alone, with no human intervention. I am using Iceweasel 31.8.0 on Debian 8.

I tried the solution you proposed for GiftWolf and it seems to be working fine now.

I don't like to install that GitHub-Extension-Installer so I haven't tried that solution.
