I don't think this option is necessary, the app will use system's proxy settings. You just need to add bing.com and its subdomains to the rules in your VPN.

Bing started IP detection for chat requests. You need to use VPN while chatting.

Fixed in v0.3.3 Bing made some changes and the page in BingGPT is not able to get the necessary cookie after login. I'm not sure if this is a bug...
