Could you disclose the browser and operating system you are using when experiencing the delayed math rendering? And also whether you would generally consider your hardware as "weak", e.g. experiencing lag on sites like Wikipedia or arXiv itself.

Also, roughly how long does it take for them to render? A second? 30 seconds? More than a minute? Helpful to guide me at what the cause could be.

This is news to me and very good to know and try to speed up.
