Not compatible with tmux or something else
Hello.
First of all, nice extension. It does the job, but with tmux most of shortcuts not working and vim as well.
Are there some suggestions about that? On which terminal is based?
Regards, Rosen Aleksandrov
ddterm is using the same terminal emulator library as GNOME Terminal - VTE (and in general tries to mimic GNOME Terminal as much as possible). Does GNOME Terminal work properly with your setup?
Maybe some ddterm keyboard shortcuts are conflicting with tmux'es? Make sure "Behavior -> Hide when Esc key is pressed" is switched off if you're using some app that needs "Escape" key. Also, you could try disabling all keyboard shortcuts: Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> uncheck "Enable application shortcuts"
I'm not using tmux so never tested its compatibility with ddterm (will do when I have some spare time).
Could you describe what exactly isn't working and how? Which shortcuts?
Hello,
Literally all of them, and also vim ones, are broken.
Does GNOME Terminal work properly with your setup?
Yes it does.
What Linux distro are you using?
X11 or Wayland?
Could you post the output of dconf dump /com/github/amezin/ddterm/?
Gentoo / X11 at the moment.
