Directory support ?

Can you support indexing and searching directories as well ? and perhaps an option to toggle this off for those who don't want to see directories in their results.

Hi @cclark-squarespace , thanks for the issue. I'll answer each of these:

Can you support indexing and searching directories as well

Directories are indexed, but you cannot select a directory itself. What is the use-case here? Are you trying to do an import of an index file in JS? If so, this feature requests makes sense.

perhaps an option to toggle this off for those who don't want to see directories in their results.

That option would be easy in settings if we can answer this first one more specifically 🙏

Actually its for a completely unrelated usecase. It's for notetaking. I would like to paste the path to a directory containing some relevant files to the current note page.

So you'd find it useful if perhaps this was opt-in? A setting that allows you to have directories instead of just files?

Feel free to PR this, that's going to be the fastest way to get that @akharrou 🙏

what do you mean ? edit the code and issue a pull request ?

Yes. This is the first time this feature has been requested, so it's not a big need that others have requested. If you want it, feel free to PR the repo

Hey @akharrou I'm open to seeing a PR for this but seeing as there are no other requests for this yet I'm going to close this issue. Feel free to re-open if this is still a desire
