It would be really awesome if the PSK were to include code that shows an implementation of a 'new version available. Update [yes][not]' toast, and associated sw code.

Is there any progress on this issue? It's a real pain to have to workaround this problem.
When I try the demo, it seems to use the front-facing camera - ie the one that I use for selfies - and all I see is my ugly mug....
