DNS Issue

I have a site hosted on my network. I can access the site (https request) through the emulator successfully as i have pointed my computer's dns server to my local dns server to resolve hostname and it works perfectly fine. But when I run the app from my android flutter app on my phone, it does not connect and receive timeout error if i'm on the same network as my site. I have tried changing the dns on the WIFI settings of my android to my local dns server and still receive same error message. If i use my android browser i can connect to it fine. If i use my cell network i can connect fine. What am i missing here? Why can't i connect if i'm in the same network as my site?
