I'm facing this problem once again with mono 4.2.1 installed

After a short investigation I found, that there is no need to do anything specific to naturally support enumeratum, this only need to be documented.

Hi @prokod! Just cheked - error does not happen on `compileScala`, only on `crossBuildXXXCompileScala`

Tried with scala 2.12.18 & 2.13.12

My bad, I added this setting years ago and missed it during the last update. I just removed -release, but the error still happens for me on `gradle crossBuildV213Classes`, but...
