I'm unable to reproduce this issue while clearing 40 notifications on 6.0 daily. This may have been fixed along the way. Closing as "incomplete" unless someone can reproduce in 6.0

I can confirm this with 2,000 notifications. To reproduce: `for n in {1..2000}; do notify-send test test; done`
