Hey, thank you for creating this tool! I did not have a single error from the script (I can re-run it and log it if you'd like), and used the following arguments:

./make_telnet_rd.php iPhone10,6 D221AP 13.3.1 iPhone10,6_d221ap_14.0.1.shsh2

irecovery did not output any errors. After irecovery finished, iPhone booted to a black screen for about 30 seconds without being able to connect and then it either gets rebooted or stuck until I force it to reboot.

Hey, thanks a lot for using it!

You should see six progress bars by irecovery if everything goes smoothly, and you can read iBoot error messages with irecovery -s most of the time.

Could you try using iOS 13.5? I've had issues with some iOS version around 13.3, but I didn't bother to debug as it basically doesn't matter which version you are using to create the RAM disk. Maybe 13.5 just works? Otherwise it would be great to send a log!

I'll try it again with iOS 13.5 tonight and will give you an update!

Just finished the process again, this time with 13.5. now the device get ti a really quick verbose (about 1 second) and a black screen for a second and then it boots normally.

I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with the patching, and not the Ramdisk, as I tried a Ramdisk that's based on 13.5 as well and does work for me with patched ibec and ibss that were pre-made for me before.

Hm, interesting. At least you got further. Could you send a video of the screen when it boots + the log of the script?

The patching is done with other utilities, so if that's the issue than you a) have some dependency issues b) have corrupt blobs c) discovered a bug in some utility or d) I'm doing something totally wrong and have only been super lucky that it worked

I had those instant panics when I accidentally had -restore as boot arg, but the script shouldn't use it so if the verbose boot log doesn't hint anything I don't really know.

Can you try to delete ramdisk and ramdisk.dmg, rerun the script and answer yes at the "I'm about to add utilities and modify the ramdisk." prompt? Then it will just boot an unmodified restore ramdisk, because maybe the SEP which the new restored_external tries to initialize is panicking your phone.
