user story

As a notedeck user, I would like to be able to minimze the app to the system tray, so that I can continue to receive notifications without having the app open in full screen.

acceptance criteria

  1. minimize to system tray
  2. continue to receive notifications when minimized

requestor is on Linux (NixOS)

I don't see what this has to do with notedeck, minimization is handled by the operating system

The original request was less about minimization and more about providing a tray icon so that the app could be left running without it being displayed as an active window. Similar to how apps such as Telegram do it.
