packaging for macOS 10.13

Open JOJ0 opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

Hi, is there any chance you can package this for macOS 10.13 High Sierra as well? I would really love to try it out but don't think I am able/willing to update to 10.14 soon. Anyway, thanks for developing this! It really is filling a gap as people mentioned on Joplin forum already! Great! best Jojo

I just published a new build (v0.1.3) that should work with High Sierra. Let me know if that works.

Hi thanks a lot, appreciated! Tested it just now and it basically runs but when I press the "Open in Safari Extensions Preferences" button nothing happens. How could I debug this further?

Let's see if the Extension loaded at all. Can you go into Safari -> Preferences -> Extensions and see if the extension is there? If so, make sure it is enabled (the checkbox has a tick in it). Then see if it runs correctly. You may need to reload any open tabs for it to work on those.

If not, then we can debug further.

The "Open in Safari Extensions Preferences" is a helper that basically just does what I described above. Not great if it doesn't work, but hopefully not an issue with the actual extension.

Hi, sorry for not getting back to you earlier. In Safari preferences I don't see the extenstion. I can see other extensions but nothing named Joplin* Thanks for your time! Appreciated!
