Support alternative materials

Hi, I'm looking to use materials from a different add-on (https://www.blendermarket.com/products/abs-plastic-materials) instead of the default ones. Is there a way to automate the process of assigning the materials or would it end in a manually assigning each part the material?

I don't have the current version, but I do have an old version of this plugin from when the creator had the repo open. Their material setup is pretty complex. but the way materials are built in my plugin should allow for what you're asking. I'll have to do some research.
