An update from my side. Not sure why or how, but I tried reinstalling this package and now it is working perfectly for me. Perhaps I have uninstalled a package...

Instead of just `height` could you not expose a `className` and/or `style`?

So I am utilising [`ncc`](https://github.com/vercel/ncc), which creates a single js file with all node_modules dependencies inlined. I don't need the node_modules at all.

Super helpful sandbox @hoschi! Thanks for putting this together. I haven't looked into it yet, but my initial guess may be that the `pure` behaviour is causing an issue here....

An interesting suggestion! I am holiday'ing with the fam at the moment, but will give this some thought after the 26th.
