It is caused by the Error handling defaults in the new project setup. If you search for `Corrupted State Exceptions` you will find more about it.

I think there must be something failing. The application captures mouse/keyboard input so it might cause issue like that.

After the name of the joystick in brackets there is the code, that the Windows discovers. If those codes are changing if you unplug/replug, then I cannot do too much....

If you can find out the latest version where it is working I think I can help you then. As I do not have this pedal I cannot test it.
